Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2013 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work A Faithful Friend by Antoine Emile Plassan. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,750.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Emile Plassan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elegant figures dining in an interior in April 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,576.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Faithful Friend von Antoine Emile Plassan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.750,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Emile Plassan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elegant figures dining in an interior im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.700,00 (€ 7.576,99).
