Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction British & Continental Pictures including Sporting and Marine Paintings, which included the work Apple-Picking by Antoine Chintreuil. The price achieved of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,772.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine Chintreuil - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Premiers Jours De Printemps, which sold at auction in June 2014 for EUR 18,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion British & Continental Pictures including Sporting and Marine Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Apple-Picking von Antoine Chintreuil zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.772,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Antoine Chintreuil mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Premiers Jours De Printemps beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für EUR 18.750,00 versteigert wurde.
