Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work An extensive summer landscape by Anthonie Jacobus van Wijngaerdt. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anthonie Jacobus van Wijngaerdt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cattle in a sunlit meadow in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 19,387.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An extensive summer landscape von Anthonie Jacobus van Wijngaerdt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthonie Jacobus van Wijngaerdt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cattle in a sunlit meadow im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.387,50.
