This price was achieved in the auction European Noble and Private Collections at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anselm Feuerbach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German Medea An Der Urne (Medea) in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 500,401.18).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anselm Feuerbach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit German Medea An Der Urne (Medea) im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 500.401,18).
