Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Sothebys in London held the auction Victorian & Edwardian Art, which included the work At The Breakfast Table by Annie Rose Laing. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,152.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Annie Rose Laing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2001 the work Lady sewing was auctioned for GBP 25,850.00 (€ 41,135.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Victorian & Edwardian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Breakfast Table von Annie Rose Laing zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.152,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Annie Rose Laing konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2001 die Arbeit Lady sewing für GBP 25.850,00 (€ 41.135,49) versteigert.
