In August 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online | London, which included this untitled work by Annette Kelm. The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,642.64), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Annette Kelm - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Anonymous, Lilac Clock Bag Buffalo Exchange., which sold at auction in November 2014 for EUR 25,000.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im August 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Annette Kelm zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.642,64) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Annette Kelm mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Anonymous, Lilac Clock Bag Buffalo Exchange. beobachtet, die im November 2014 für EUR 25.000,00 versteigert wurde.
