Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Anne Yeats achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2017. In the Yeats: The Family Collection auction, the work Abstract Figure sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,119.91) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anne Yeats - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sicilian Traffic Jam, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,345.13).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Anne Yeats erzielte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Yeats: The Family Collection wurde die Arbeit Abstract Figure für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.119,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anne Yeats mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sicilian Traffic Jam beobachtet, die im September 2017 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.345,13) versteigert wurde.
