Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anne Speier could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Gallery auction, the work Observing the Observation of a Conversation changed hands for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,611.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Anne Speier have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2018 by the work Observing a Conversation at GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,701.40).
