Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Head Of A Young Woman by Anne-Louis Girodet-Trioson for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,107.17). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne-Louis Girodet-Trioson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Adieux de Coriolan à sa famille ('Coriolanus Taking Leave of his Family') in October 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,655,000.00 (€ 2,380,098.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Head Of A Young Woman von Anne-Louis Girodet-Trioson für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.107,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
