Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Walls Of Jerusalem by Anna Ticho was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,366.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Anna Ticho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jerusalem Hills in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 33,600.00 (€ 26,615.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Walls Of Jerusalem von Anna Ticho kam im Dezember 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.366,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Ticho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jerusalem Hills im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.600,00 (€ 26.615,97).
