Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anna Ticho could be acquired at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Art at the Hilton Hotel, Tel Aviv auction, the work Portrait of an Old Man changed hands for USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,513.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anna Ticho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jerusalem Hills in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 33,600.00 (€ 26,615.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anna Ticho konnte im April 2007 bei Christies in Tel Aviv für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Art at the Hilton Hotel, Tel Aviv wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of an Old Man für USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.513,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Ticho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jerusalem Hills im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.600,00 (€ 26.615,97).
