Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Breaking Of Ice On The Neva, Petrograd by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,505.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First Snow in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 446,100.00 (€ 624,655.41).

Die Arbeit The Breaking Of Ice On The Neva, Petrograd von Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.505,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
