Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Fiesole, Tuscany; and Eight other compositions from the artist's travels by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,215.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First Snow in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 446,100.00 (€ 624,655.41).
