Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Five views of St Petersburg: Park of Tsarskoe-Selo; Rostral column; The Admiralty under the snow; Leningrad, Smolny Institute; and Petrograd, Fishing tackle by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,694.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First Snow in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 446,100.00 (€ 624,655.41).
