Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Landscape scenery by Anna Elisabeth Munch was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in Paintings, furniture and varia in September this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.11). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna Elisabeth Munch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life, which sold at auction in May this year for DKK 5,000.00 (€ 671.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Landscape scenery von Anna Elisabeth Munch im September diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen in Paintings, furniture and varia versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,11) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Anna Elisabeth Munch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für DKK 5.000,00 (€ 671,11) versteigert wurde.
