This artwork by Angiolo D'Andrea achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in April 2014. In the XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings auction, the work Giunchiglie sold for EUR 3,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angiolo D'Andrea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Head of Saint Joseph Looking Down, With A Subsidiary Study of His Features (Recto); Two Studies of Legs (Verso) in July 2005 with an auction result of GBP 6,504,000.00 (€ 9,433,990.60).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Head of Saint Joseph Looking Down, With A Subsidiary Study of His Features (Recto); Two Studies of Legs (Verso) im Juli 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.504.000,00 (€ 9.433.990,60).
