The work The Way by Angelo Savelli was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 15,850.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59 %. Admittedly, works by Angelo Savelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza titolo in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 68,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 59 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Way von Angelo Savelli wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 15.850,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angelo Savelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza titolo im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.200,00.
