This artwork by Angelo Barabino achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November 2017. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo auction, the work Sulla via del ritorno al tramonto sold for EUR 22,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angelo Barabino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nevicata A Tortona, which sold at auction in June 2009 for EUR 55,950.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Angelo Barabino erzielte im November 2017 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo wurde die Arbeit Sulla via del ritorno al tramonto für EUR 22.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Angelo Barabino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nevicata A Tortona beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für EUR 55.950,00 versteigert wurde.
