In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work & # x 4 D C 1; and & # x 4 D C 2 (Two Works) by Angela Su for HKD 13,860.00 (€ 14,153.77). This price was achieved in the auction Making Her Mark: 20th/21st Century Women Artists at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, & # x 4 D C 1; and & # x 4 D C 2 (Two Works) is the most expensive artwork by Angela Su that we have observed at auction so far.
