Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work The snow Tods of Perth, in two positions, off the entrance to Marseilles harbour by Ange-Joseph-Antoine Roux for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,918.49). This price was achieved in the auction Maritime Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house.
