Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Boxer by Andrew Reid was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 640.00 (€ 734.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Reid - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a Lady, which sold at auction in October this year for GBP 2,048.00 (€ 2,351.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Boxer von Andrew Reid kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 640,00 (€ 734,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrew Reid mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für GBP 2.048,00 (€ 2.351,67) versteigert wurde.
