Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 896.25 (€ 1,341.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrew Douglas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cattle in the Highlands in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 7,853.14).
