In October 2004 Christies in Madrid held the auction ARTE ESPANOL, which included the work La Dama Del Mar by Andreu Alfaro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 32,265.00 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andreu Alfaro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Homenatge als Constructivistes, which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 67,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion ARTE ESPANOL durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Dama Del Mar von Andreu Alfaro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 32.265,00 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Andreu Alfaro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Homenatge als Constructivistes beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für EUR 67.100,00 versteigert wurde.
