Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Clouds Over The Mountains by Andrei Nikolaevich Shilder was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,523.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrei Nikolaevich Shilder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Landscape, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,381.39).
