A top price for Andrey Osipovich Karelin - as previously expected
In May 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Photography, which included the work Charité, Circa 1880 by Andrey Osipovich Karelin. The price achieved of EUR 5,576.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Charité, Circa 1880 is the most expensive artwork by Andrey Osipovich Karelin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Photography durch, in der auch die Arbeit Charité, Circa 1880 von Andrey Osipovich Karelin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.576,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Charité, Circa 1880 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Andrey Osipovich Karelin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
