A top price for Andrei Alekseevich Yakovlev - as previously expected
The work Simple Happiness by Andrei Alekseevich Yakovlev was sold in the Russian auction at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,861.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Simple Happiness is the most expensive artwork by Andrei Alekseevich Yakovlev that we have observed at auctions so far.
