This artwork by Andrée Simon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. In the A Dealer Is Selling Off auction, the work without title sold for EUR 1,440.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Admittedly, works by Andrée Simon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in January 2006 with an auction result of EUR 6,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Andrée Simon erzielte im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Dealer Is Selling Off wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 1.440,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrée Simon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.000,00.
