Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art 2 — « Lumières et Géométries », which included the work Blau-Rot, 1978 by Andreas Brandt. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,157.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andreas Brandt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Schwarz und Hellblau“., which sold at auction in December 2018 for EUR 10,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art 2 — « Lumières et Géométries » durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blau-Rot, 1978 von Andreas Brandt zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.157,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Andreas Brandt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Schwarz und Hellblau“. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für EUR 10.625,00 versteigert wurde.
