Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Madonna and Child by Andrea Previtali was sold in the Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,170.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Andrea Previtali have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2018 the work The Rest On The Flight Into Egypt was auctioned for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,242.70).

Die Arbeit The Madonna and Child von Andrea Previtali wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.170,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
