In October 2021 Christies held the auction Always in Style: Old Master Drawings from the Collection of Herbert Kasper, which included the work An angel playing a violin by Andrea Lilio. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,559.21), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Andrea Lilio have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 27,500.00 in March 2018 for the work Two Monks Warming Themselves By A Hearth, Two Further Figures On The Right With Another Two Figures Drawn Over The Top.
