Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Le Jeune Prince Jouant Avec Son Faucon by Andrea Fossati. The price achieved of EUR 2,340.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Fossati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portovenere in April 2001 with an auction result of GBP 19,975.00 (€ 32,202.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Jeune Prince Jouant Avec Son Faucon von Andrea Fossati zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.340,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrea Fossati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portovenere im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.975,00 (€ 32.202,20).
