Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Origine by Andrea Cascella was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 4,375.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Cascella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dedalo in April 2019 with an auction result of EUR 175,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Origine von Andrea Cascella im November 2016 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 4.375,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrea Cascella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dedalo im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 175.000,00.
