Auction result misses estimated price range

In June 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Meules by André Vignoles for USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,502.46). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by André Vignoles have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La chateau de Fermain Court in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,428.37).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Meules von André Vignoles für USD 1.920,00 (€ 1.502,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Vignoles auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La chateau de Fermain Court im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.428,37).
