Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by André Valensi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in April 2017. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre sold for EUR 4,550.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by André Valensi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peinture - 1973 in September 2016 with an auction result of EUR 26,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Valensi erzielte im April 2017 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 4.550,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Valensi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peinture - 1973 im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.000,00.
