This artwork by André Quellier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2012. In the Christie's Interiors - Style & Spirit auction, the work Flowers In A Glass Vase, In A Landscape sold for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,179.09) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by André Quellier; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Amorous Couple In A Garden, With A Hoopoe sold at auction in February 2012 with the realized price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,970.13).
