Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le Tour du Monde by André Henri Dargelas was sold in the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in July 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,279.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Henri Dargelas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Le Tour Du Monde, which sold at auction in June 2009 for GBP 68,450.00 (€ 80,323.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Tour du Monde von André Henri Dargelas wurde im Juli 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.279,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von André Henri Dargelas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Le Tour Du Monde beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für GBP 68.450,00 (€ 80.323,78) versteigert wurde.
