Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints, which included the work On the balcony by Anatoly Demenko. The price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,069.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Demenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Up Or Down?, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,505.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the balcony von Anatoly Demenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.069,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Demenko mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Up Or Down? beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.505,86) versteigert wurde.
