Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning by Anatoliy Kryvolap was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 37,343.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoliy Kryvolap - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Horse, Evening, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 122,500.00 (€ 142,979.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Morning von Anatoliy Kryvolap kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 37.343,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoliy Kryvolap mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Horse, Evening beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 122.500,00 (€ 142.979,44) versteigert wurde.
