Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Odalisca by Amos Cassioli for EUR 450.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amos Cassioli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Battaglia (Scontro di cavalleria), 1878 in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 24,500,000.00 (€ 22,020.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Odalisca von Amos Cassioli für EUR 450,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amos Cassioli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Battaglia (Scontro di cavalleria), 1878 im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 24.500.000,00 (€ 22.020,00).
