In February last year Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included this untitled work by Amine El Bacha. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,438.95), 36% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Amine El Bacha have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le quartier enchanté in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 36 % übertroffen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Amine El Bacha zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.438,95) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Amine El Bacha auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le quartier enchanté im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.500,00.
