Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Viandante by Amedeo Bocchi was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,200.00 – 2,400.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,000.00. Other works by Amedeo Bocchi have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2017 by the work Roma. Scorcio con la cupola della Basilica di San Pietro sullo sfondo at EUR 4,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Viandante von Amedeo Bocchi im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.200,00 – 2.400,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.000,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Amedeo Bocchi wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2017 die Arbeit Roma.
