This artwork by Amédée Julien Marcel-Clément achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2008. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Retour De Peche sold for EUR 13,012.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Amédée Julien Marcel-Clément; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Noirmoutier. Mer Au Soleil" sold at auction in November 2020 with the realized price of EUR 16,250.00.

In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Retour De Peche für EUR 13.012,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Amédée Julien Marcel-Clément; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Noirmoutier. Mer Au Soleil" im November 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 16.250,00.
