Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studies Of Different Sea Creatures Including A Sea Anemone by Aloys Zötl was sold in the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,803.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aloys Zötl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Male And Female Pipas in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 137,500.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.803,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
