Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2001 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work A basket and a platter of fruit and a vase of mixed flowers on a table in the garden by Alois Zabehlicky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,414.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alois Zabehlicky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tulips, Carnations, Roses and other summer flowers in a vase on a ledge, which sold at auction in September 2003 for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 7,101.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A basket and a platter of fruit and a vase of mixed flowers on a table in the garden von Alois Zabehlicky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.414,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Alois Zabehlicky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tulips, Carnations, Roses and other summer flowers in a vase on a ledge beobachtet, die im September 2003 für GBP 7.050,00 (€ 7.101,27) versteigert wurde.
