In October 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work A French street scene with figures beside a church by Alois Lecoque. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 884.82) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Alois Lecoque have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Terase Palma Mallorca in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 4,182.50 (€ 4,233.73).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A French street scene with figures beside a church von Alois Lecoque zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 600,00 (€ 884,82) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alois Lecoque auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Terase Palma Mallorca im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.182,50 (€ 4.233,73).
