Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alois Heinrich Priechenfried achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Yeshiva boy reading in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 73,003.36).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.195,00) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alois Heinrich Priechenfried erzielen.
