Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work A Cardinal reading by Alois Heinrich Priechenfried. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,766.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alois Heinrich Priechenfried achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Yeshiva boy reading in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 73,003.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Cardinal reading von Alois Heinrich Priechenfried zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.766,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alois Heinrich Priechenfried erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Yeshiva boy reading im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.000,00 (€ 73.003,36).
