Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2004 Christies in London held the auction At Home - British & Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work A Good Brew by Alois Binder. The price achieved of GBP 775.50 (€ 1,134.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alois Binder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A charming melody, which sold at auction in September 2003 for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 2,367.09).

Im Januar 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion At Home - British & Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Good Brew von Alois Binder zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 775,50 (€ 1.134,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden.
