Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work “3 objekter” by Allan Schmidt for DKK 1,000.00 (€ 133.99). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Allan Schmidt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Rødt indslag”, 1966, which sold at auction in November this year for DKK 2,700.00 (€ 362.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “3 objekter” von Allan Schmidt für DKK 1.000,00 (€ 133,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Allan Schmidt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Rødt indslag”, 1966 beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für DKK 2.700,00 (€ 362,13) versteigert wurde.
