Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wooded Landscape With City Rooftops In The Distance by Allaert van Everdingen was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,094.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allaert van Everdingen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage De Rivière Animé De Personnages Au Pied D'Une Forteresse in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 207,400.00.
